Synopsis

The nearly retired English teacher Christopher Barlow lived a monotonous and somewhat dull existence until he decides to embark on a journey of connection, adventure, and intimacy, which involves hiring a young sex worker named Noah Alexander. Together, they find a surprising human connection wherein Noah helps Christopher face his internalized shame as he struggles to accept his need for sex. When Christopher begins to lose sight of the fantastical element Noah provides through his services, it conceals the boundaries of their relationship.

‘My Nights with Noah’ is a queer adaptation of the critically acclaimed film ‘Good Luck to You, Leo Grande’ (2022). The play offers a nuanced portrait of sex and intimacy while also attempting to dismantle taboos around the morality of sex work.
